Sensory Enrichment Programs

 Our online Wellness Enrichment Programs are designed to create a unique form of support and socialization ~ through movement, art, writing, film, and music courses.   

 These live interaction, once-a-week sessions will be led by qualified instructors during eight-week long semesters and with limited class sizes to allow for  social connections between participants.   

 These programs  are free to participants on a first available basis, thanks to support by community donations and grants from generous donors like the Nora Roberts Foundation and the Annapolis Rotary Club. 

2022 Academic Session

Art Theory & Practice

 Studio art classes that address both technique and critical thinking about traditional visual arts media such as collage, painting, drawing and sculpture.  

 Art supplies provided.


TUESDAYS, beginning February 22, 2022

Electronic Music Theory & Practice

 Cultivation of the understanding of electronic music through analyzing and performing music on an electronic platform as they explore concepts like pitch, rhythm, form and musical design.  Equipment & software provided.


 WEDNESDAYS, beginning February 23, 2022

11am Pacific / 12noon Mtn / 1pm Central / 2pm Eastern 

Movement & Physical Wellness

  Low-intensity Yoga workouts encouraging movement, light flexibility, option to move with personal style and expression.  This is all about moving your body and having fun!

Gaming Strategy & analysis

Are you a fan of video games?   Video games offer the opportunity to learn strategy and critical thinking. From character development and analysis to making real-time choices, this is a fun way to interact socially while learning important life skills. 


  FRIDAYS, beginning February 25, 2022

11am Pacific / 12noon Mtn / 1pm Central / 2pm Eastern   

 Some courses may be a part of an on-going study on the relationship of wellness therapy benefits and may require participants to complete surveys and respond to questionnaires - prior to, during and/or after the course. All identifying information is kept confidential.

Registration

Participation is limited to 8 individuals per class. Participants must be invited through a support group or referred by an affiliate non-profit organization, or health care provider. Please send the information below and you will receive the registration application by email to complete and return as soon as possible.
